IRVINE, CA-Steve Silen has joined New York-based Ernst & Young LLP Construction and Real Estate Advisory Services practice here as a senior manager. He will be leading the firm's Corporate Real Estate Advisory practice for the western half of the US.
Prior to joining EY, Silen was a leader within KPMG's Real Estate and Facilities Management Advisory practice and held senior real estate and facilities-management positions with firms in the pharmaceutical and oil-and-gas industry sectors. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences' and has written a series of articles related to integrated facilities management, sourcing of facilities-management services, real estate strategies, lease administration, balanced scorecard, driving innovation and continuous improvement, and cost reduction.
