MEMPHIS, TN—The ownership of the 100 N. Main office tower here have given tenants until June 1 to vacate the property so that it can begin a $100-million conversion of the building into mixed use space, specifically apartments and a hotel.
Isaac Thomas, managing member of the building ownership group, says that 30 to 40 office tenants will leave the 38-story building in the next few months. The plan calls for the ownership to redevelop the property into 266 apartment units and a 171-room hotel.
He adds that he expects to name which hotel franchise flag will fly over the property in the next two weeks. The hotel will be housed on the upper floors of the 792,000-square-foot building. See story in the Memphis Business Journal.
