ST. AUGUSTINE, FL—A joint venture of Hunt Cos. of Dallas and Jacksonville, FL developer Tom Jones has acquired a 224-acre parcel of land zoned for residential and commercial development for $6.17 million.
The Flagler Crossing property, located along U.S. 1, between the St. Johns County municipal offices and a Winn-Dixie Stores Inc.-anchored shopping center, was sold by Flagler Development of Coral Gables, FL, according to the Jacksonville Business Journal.
A total of 88 acres is zoned for residential development and 26 acres are entitled for 150,000 square feet of commercial space. See story in the Jacksonville Business Journal.
