WEST PALM BEACH, FL—Quest Workspaces isn't nearly as big as Regus. No, not by a long shot. But the alternative office space provider is showing Regus-like ambition with aggressive serviced office growth. In less than three years, the business center operator has opened eight locations.
Now, the company is diversifying, launching Quest Real Estate Advisors (REA), a subsidiary that will handle commercial real estate projects and office space around the country. And not just for Quest Workspaces.
Indeed, Quest REA wants to help commercial real estate owners, investors, developers, and property managers further strengthen brand identity through the strategic development of client-focused amenities designed to raise property values and lower vacancy rates. For starters, Quest REA recently partnered with CGI Merchant Group, a private, investment, and management advisory firm, which acquired four office buildings in Palm Beach County to launch The Commons Executive Suites.
The buildings are 85% leased to more than 100 small to mid-size companies. Quest REA oversees all leasing and office management services.
“As a former Quest tenant in our Brickell location, CGI has first-hand experience with Quest's unique culture and the brand's proven track record of success in developing work spaces, which foster creative networking environments for today's evolved professionals,' says Laura Kozelouzek, founder and CEO of Quest Workspaces and Quest REA. Quest REA helps clients and corporate users define current business plans and models, develop strategies, source opportunities and execute solutions that are aligned with current market supply dynamics and long term goals.
Originally developed by Crexent Business Centers, CGI purchased the asset out of bankruptcy in April 2013. The Commons caters targets executives and small business tenants. The Commons Vista Park, Commons Stuart, and Commons Wellington offer turnkey workspace solutions, as well as virtual and part-time offices with access to client-centered amenities, professional services, and an administrative staff.
“For successful results, it is imperative to integrate real estate solutions that combine skill, services and technology,” says Raoul Thomas, CEO of CGI. “Since bringing Quest REA on board, we have witnessed dynamic improvements in our operations, occupancy and monthly revenue.”
