NEW YORK CITY—Claren Road Asset Management has reportedly agreed to lease the top floor of Edward Minskoff's 51 Astor Place.

The firm, a subsidiary of the Carlyle Group, will occupy 25,401 square feet of space at the property. The asking rent for the space was a pricey $118 per square foot, according to the Real Deal.

The money management firm will be relocating from the 29th floor of Paramount Group's 900 Third Ave. The 12-story, 400,000-square-foot 51 Astor Place office building began leasing in June and has landed some high-profile tenants, including IBM's Watson Group, which became the building's anchor tenant with a 120,000-square-foot deal that was announced earlier this year.
