BETHESDA, MD—Starr Capital is nearing the finish line on its 17-story, 72-unit luxury condominium building on Fairmont Ave.
The Montgomery County Planning Commission has scheduled a session on April 3 where it could vote to approve the project's site plan. The Chevy Chase, MD-based development firm is dedicating 2,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space to the county for art studios that would be managed by the Bethesda Urban Partnership.
The plan for the project at 4990 Fairmont calls for the first four stories of the building to be dedicated to parking, with a total of 7,000 square feet of retail space and art studios wrapped around the parking on the ground floor, according to Bethesdanow.com.
