HERNDON, VA—MicroPact Inc., a growing business process and case management company, has doubled is leased space at its headquarters here.
The privately-held firm founded in 1997, has reportedly signed a lease for the seventh floor at 12901 Worldgate Drive here. MicroPact already occupies the eighth floor at the building, which totals approximately 20,000 square feet, according to the Washington Business Journal.
"It's to accommodate new people, as well as to provide a more collaborative and open space and a more open environment," says MicroPact CEO Kris Collo, who was recently honored with a Washington Business Journal Minority Business Leader Award. "We're going to overhaul the space."
Currently counting 150 employees, MicroPact expects to expand its workforce about 30% in 2014. Its new space on the seventh floor, which had been vacant, can accommodate approximately 250 people. The company outgrew its current space and has been occupying part of the fifth floor temporarily while the lease terms were finalized. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
