WASHINGTON, DC—Hilton Hotels Corp. is reportedly in discussions with CityCenterDC developer Hines to open a Conrad hotel in the second phase of the project.
The talks between Hines and Hilton Hotels have reportedly been taking place for about a year, according to the Washington Post. The proposed 370-room hotel would face New York Avenue with construction projected to begin in the fall of 2015.
Conrad Hotels & Resorts is Hilton's contemporary luxury brand that operates in mostly international locales. The chain currently has four North American locations: New York, Chicago, Miami and Indianapolis. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
