CONSHOHOCKEN, PA—Philadelphia-based Equus Capital Partners has decided to scrap plans to build an apartment complex on West Elm Street here, opting instead to build a new office building at the site.
The firm had looked to build 300 apartment nits at the 20-acre site it acquired in 2011. However, Equus is now seeking to build a new seven-story 320,000-square-foot building there, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Wulff Architects designed the office building, which would feature such amenities as dining and exercise facilities. Floor plates are to be approximately 45,000 square feet.
The building would be visible from I-476, giving tenants the ability to have signage visible from the highway, says Steve Spaeder of Equus Capital. See story in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
