IRVINE, CA—Avison Young's Irvine office has added Keith Kropfl and Michael Ganz to its team. The commercial real estate professionals' expertise will “provide Avison Young with tremendous leverage as the firm continues to expand its retail and enterprise-solutions services,” according to Christopher Cooper, principal and managing director of the company's Southern California region. The duo was most recently with Voit Real Estate Services in Irvine, where they served as SVP an associate, respectively.
Effective immediately, Kropfl becomes a principal and Ganz joins as an associate. Kropfl will focus on expanding the firm's retail and enterprise-solutions services in Orange County, with an emphasis on large and mid-cap corporate retail-occupier strategy, site selection, leasing, acquisitions and development. Ganz will continue his partnership with Kropfl as they collectively grow their business, while servicing new and existing clients.
“Keith and Michael bring to Avison Young an incredible level of experience in a rapidly growing sector of the retail and corporate-occupier markets throughout Southern California, and even the US,” says Cooper. He adds that the two new hires are “highly regarded in the industry for their proven track record and dedication to superior client service. They are important additions as we expand our service offerings to better meet clients' needs. Furthermore, they will enhance their service-delivery platform by capitalizing on our wide range of market knowledge and resources available from Avison Young offices across the US, Canada and in Europe.”

Kropfl, who has 23 years of commercial real estate experience, has been active in the sale and leasing of retail, industrial and office properties. His experience includes tenant and buyer representation, development, leasing, sales, property management and commercial financing, as well as working with corporate retail clients including 24-Hour Fitness, Forever 21, Kohl's and others.
Ganz specializes in retail property sales, leasing and investment sales transactions. He focuses on business development and client service in Irvine and other areas of Orange County and Southern California.
As GlobeSt.com reported last week, the firm has acquired Sacramento-based commercial real estate brokerage company Aguer Havelock Associates, Inc., a former member of the NAI network.
Mark Rose, chair and CEO of Avison Young, said Aguer Havelock's business will add brokerage services to Avison Young's current property management and lease administration offerings in Sacramento and further expands the company's business-line coverage in Northern California.
