LOS ANGELES—Law firm Hunton & Williams hasexpanded its commercial real estate practice to the West Coast inthe firm's already established Los Angeles office, and has hiredRobert M. Johnson as a partner.
According to Howard E. Schreiber, Hunton &William's co-head of global real estate practice, California is thebest destination to grow the firm's national practice. The firm'sreal estate practice has 75 attorneys throughout the country, andadvises clients in every sector of the commercial real estatespace: industrial, retail,office, multifamily, and soon.
Johnson joins the firm from Seyfarth Shaw LLP,where he served as a partner. He is an expert in commercial realestate development and finance, and has represented owners andinvestors throughout the Western region. ChristopherHasbrouck will also join the firm from Seyfarth Shaw LLP,and will work alongside Johnson in the Los Angeles office as anassociate. Johnson did not respond to a request for a comment.
