SAN FRANCISCO—Continuing its growth and expansion in its SanFrancisco office, Venable LLP said this weekthat Brandt Mori has rejoined the firmas counsel in its nationally recognized Corporate and HospitalityGroups. Mori spent the past three years as general counsel at sbe,a global hospitality and real estate development company.

At sbe, Mori managed the company's team of in-house and externalattorneys and handled all legal aspects of the company'sacquisition, development, financing, management, operation, saleand brand licensing of hotels, condo-hotels,branded residences, mixed-useprojects, restaurants, andnightlife venues both domestically andinternationally.

His work included advising on complex business and real estateacquisition, sale and financing transactions; joint ventures,management agreements, development agreements and brand/trademarklicense agreements; celebrity chef consulting and licenseagreements; office and retail leases, including restaurant andnightclub/bar leases; private investment offerings and investorrelations and general commercial agreements.
