NEW YORK CITYKen Meyerson of CBRE's consultinggroup has been promoted to vice chairman. A 20-year industryveteran, Meyerson has been involved in more than 12 million squarefeet of transactions.

His professional experience includes considerable expertise inreal estate leasing and ownership projects, ranging from largecorporate headquarters to standard office leases. He has beendeeply involved in the strategic planning, negotiation andstructuring of complex lease and sales transactions for a widerange of clients and assignments, including large corporateheadquarters, non-profit, apparel and specialized office and studiorequirements. He brings extensive knowledge of the economic andfinancial statement impact of various real estate strategies andmaintains an active role in overseeing the collection, organizationand analysis of all information pertaining to a particularassignment.

Meyerson won the Real Estate Board of New York's Robert T.Lawrence Award for the most creative lease transaction in 2009 forhis work on the Gap, Inc. transaction at 40 Worth St.
