NEW YORK CITY—Jordan Roeschlaub and Daniel Fromm, formerly with Madison Avenue-based real estate investment bank Chesterfield Faring, Ltd., have joined NGKF Capital Markets here as senior managing director and managing director, respectively.

The addition of the two structured finance executives are part of a national expansion for the firm, according to officials with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. Both Roeschlaub and Fromm will work out of the company's offices in New York City. NGKF Capital Markets is the investment sales and capital markets capability group for Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

"With property fundamentals improving in the midst of an ultra-low interest-rate environment, the appetite for borrowing will remain robust for the balance of 2014 and into 2015," says Jimmy Kuhn, president of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and head of NGKF Capital Markets. “Jordy and his team have an impressive track record of financing assets and portfolios in New York, and nationally."

Kuhn adds that NGKF plans to continue to grow its operations with new hires. "We expect to add another half dozen debt and equity teams around the country while continuing to grow our investment and loan sales platform,” he says.

Roeschlaub is charged with expanding the New York and Tri-State real estate debt and structured finance team as part of NGKF's capital markets platform. The team will raise and structure capital for all asset classes on behalf of institutional and private real estate investors, company officials say. He will be working with NGKF debt broker Paul Talbot and equity banker Garett Stoffels, who recently joined NGKF from Cantor Fitzgerald after serving as a senior investment banker at Bear Stearns.

Roeschlaub served as a managing director and head of Chesterfield Faring's debt and equity group, while Fromm was a director in the real estate investment banking group for the firm. In his career Roeschlaub has executed more than $2.75 billion in capital markets transactions. Previously, Fromm worked as an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.

The appointments of Roeschlaub and Fromm come after Joe Donato and Maury Zanoff joined NGKF Capital Markets from CBRE in June. The two finance executives have more than $60 billion in debt and equity deals throughout their careers.
