IRVINE, CA—Todd Gladis, SVP, commercial operations for the Auction.com, has been named one of the “2014 50 Under 40” by GlobeSt.com's sister publication Real Estate Forum for his accomplishments in the industry and his professional and personal philosophy. Gladis, one of the online real estate marketplace's top young operational leaders, is one of more than 500 nominees who were judged based on their talent, ambition and success at a young age.

As Forum reports, Gladis supports the development of new platforms for clients in markets where one did not exist and has been directly involved in transforming the traditional retail transactional method into a fast-pasted, technology-driven online experience. In his five years with the company, he has served as a mentor for new executives and staff members and serves as Auction.com's chief of staff to the CEO.

Gladis' primary industry expertise lies in operations, sales, compliance, communications, business development and marketing. Currently, he heads the commercial operations division he helped create four-and-a-half years ago, ensuring that each real estate asset designated for auction is set up for success.

Auction.com's commercial-auction operations division, which Gladis helped to create four years ago, facilitates all commercial real estate transactions through the Auction.com platform and has seen a tremendous increase in sales volume over the past four years, according to the firm. Gladis works with the executive team to facilitate objectives and directives for the company. He also serves as a valuable mentor for new executives and staff members.

According to Jeff Frieden, CEO and founder of Auction.com, “On behalf of the Auction.com team, we congratulate Todd on this well-deserved recognition and thank him for his efforts to bring sellers and qualified buyers together in a seamless auction process. Todd's leadershiop and his team's contributions continue to help Auction.com innovate the way real estate is bought and sold.”

Gladis joins another member from the Auction.com team in being recognized as an exemplary under-40 executive. Joseph Cuomo, SVP and director of business development for the firm, was named on Forum's “40 Under 40” list last year.
