The Industry Service Award recognizes firms or individuals that have made substantial contributions to the commercial and industrial real estate industry in support of the industry's goals.

“In his more than 30 years of service on the front lines of New Jersey's development, Bob has played an integral role in the commercial real estate community as both a top leader and producer with incredible insight on the market and sound financial acumen,” says Kimberly Brennan, chief operating officer of Colliers International's Tri-State Region. “He has been instrumental in leading our New Jersey teams with firm guidance, enthusiasm, and passion – taking care of and bringing out the best in the professionals that fuel this business. We congratulate Bob on this much-deserved honor and commend his vast contributions to our industry.”

Recognized as one of the state's most prolific and high profile transactional real estate executives, Martie is credited with completing a remarkable volume of sale and lease transactions, many of which have exceeded 100,000 square feet. Over the course of his career in his capacity as an executive leasing manager, Martie has led the development of and leasing for many of New Jersey's largest master-planned office parks. His career is highlighted by an exhaustive list of high profile transactions and build-to suits for tenants including New York Life, Verizon, Hoffman-La Roche, Foster Wheeler, Merck, BOC, Champion Mortgage, and AT&T, among others.

Martie has also been honored as commercial real estate's "Man of the Year" by the March of Dimes New Jersey Chapter and remains active with the nonprofit organization today, serving as Real Estate Committee Chair.

Previously, Martie served as the chairman of the Board of Directors for Morris County Rides, Inc., on the Board of Trustees for The Bonnie Brae School and the Children's Learning Center, and on advisory committees for Governor Christine Whitman's New Jersey Economic Master Plan Commission. His other professional affiliations include the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, CoreNet Global, and the Morris County Area Development Group.
