PHILADELPHIA, PA–DTZ is naming Matthew Marshall and Jeffrey L. Williams to its industrial brokerage team, expanding the firm's capabilities in Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Marshall and Williams will spearhead a Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania office specializing in industrial services, which is slated to open in spring 2015, and introduce the DTZ industrial platform into the region.

DTZ is expanding into the area at a time when the region's industrial and property services markets are ripe,” said Raymond Trevisan, managing principal of DTZ. “The robust and exciting Philadelphia commercial real estate landscape combined with the opportunity for strategic growth and expansion of the overall DTZ portfolio were two major contributing and motivating factors for this expansion.”

Expansion of DTZ's Northeast U.S. industrial team follows the year-end 2014 acquistion of Cassidy Turley, which created a global, Top 3 commercial real estate services brand under the ownership of an investment consortium including TPG Capital, PAG Asia Capital and the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.

Marshall will serve as DTZ managing director and brings to the firm extensive experience in integrated real estate services, including financial modeling, transactional and tenant representation services and property acquisitions and dispositions. His 23-year career in commercial real estate includes serving as senior vice president at Cresa Philadelphia, vice president of global services at ProLogis and prior positions with Dermody Properties and Trammell Crow Company.

Williams also joins DTZ as managing director. Before joining the firm, he was a senior vice president at Cresa and spent 15 years at Cushman & Wakefield as director of industrial real estate. He has focused on landlord representation and completed transactions totaling 52 million square feet and 1,058 acres of industrial space and land worth $1.62 billion in value.
