BETHESDA, MD—Paul Mogote has joined Berkeley Point Capital LLC as the locally based firm's national director of FHA originations. Operating from BPC's Dallas office, Mogote will be responsible for developing new and existing relationships and helping to grow the company's FHA program.

Before joining BPC, Mogote was the national FHA program manager at Keybank and helped the company achieve the highest levels of FHA loan production in its history for two of the five years that he was there.  He grew the business internally through sales collaboration, educational, and process enhancements and externally through client acquisition, and industry conferences. 

Prior to moving into loan originations, Mogote was a multifamily and healthcare underwriter during his time with what was then known as GMAC Commercial Mortgage, now Berkadia. Over the course of his career, Mogote has contributed to closing loans in excess of $1 billion, and also worked directly with a majority of the HUD offices nationwide.

Mogote says his focus will be “to grow the company's FHA loan originations and presence nationally. Over my career, I've found that there is always a niche of the market that desires the attractive FHA program terms.”
