NEW YORK-Locally-based lender Greystone hascreated a new group geared to providing EB-5financing to real estate developers. Real estate andfinance veteran Justin Gardinier heads the newdivision.

Gardinier has been named managing director and will lead theEB-5 group from Greystone's New York City headquarters. He has morethan 15 years of real estate and finance experience as an advisorand principal. He previously worked for CIM Group LP, where heestablished a successful EB-5 capital-raising platform that raisedEB-5 funds for CIM's development projects. Gardinier holds an MBAfrom Columbia Business School.

Greystone's EB-5 group is the industry's first EB-5 sponsor withthe capabilities and financial strength of a full-service realestate lender, investor, fiduciary, servicer, developer, andadvisor, the company states in its announcement. Greystone offersdevelopers a complete, customized and integrated financing solutionthat includes construction financing, EB-5 financing and permanentfinancing for real estate and healthcare development projects.Greystone's new division will manage the entire EB-5capital-raising process, including deal structuring, documentpreparation, marketing, and loan and investor servicing.
