MELVILLE, NY—CBRE Group has promoted Daniel Brandel to first VP at the firm's Long Island office. A specialist in office and industrial tenant representation, he was previously a VP.
“Daniel has been an instrumental member of our industry-leading brokerage team since he joined us in 2008,” says Ellen Rudin, managing director of CBRE's Long Island region. “During this time, he has completed transactions throughout the Long Island area in excess of 1.3 million square feet.”
Brandel has represented a diverse group of tenants in industries that include healthcare, law, financial services, education, internet technology/software, accounting, insurance, marketing, staffing and life sciences/biotechnology. He has received a number of industry recognitions, including the 2012 “Rising Star” award from the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island, which encompasses approximately 300 members. Additionally, in 2009 Brandel was recognized as the top contributor of market data to the company database.
An active member of the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island, Brandel is also founding member of the Nourish Intertnational chapter at Ohio State University,his alma mater. He is also a graduate of the CBRE University Advanced Office Program, class of '12.
