ORLANDO—Stephanie Addis has joined Colliers International Tampa Bay. She joins as director of retail leasing services for the Tampa office.

Addis brings over 15 years of retail real estate experiences to the table. Colliers expects her broad retail relationships in the local market to offer a strong foundation for her role as  a leasing agent in the Tampa Bay office.

"It's an interesting time in retail real estate,” Addis tells GlobeSt.com. “We continue to see strong demand for restaurant space, as well as a shortage of existing class A space availability. As such, we're experiencing an increase in new development projects across the region. Additionally, impending changes in the landscape of the grocery sector will be something to watch closely in 2016 and beyond.”

Prior to joining Colliers, Addis served as a senior leasing advisor for The Shopping Center Group. She was responsible for leasing of neighborhood and community shopping centers on the west coast of Florida. She launched her retail real estate career began in 1998.

“Stephanie's experience will add to our already robust retail landlord representation leasing team,” says Ryan Kratz, president of Colliers International Tampa Bay, Central and Southwest Florida. “She has represented well-known retail assets throughout the region, and we look forward to having her skills and experience as a key part of our team.”

Addis is a licensed real estate salesperson in Florida. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and received the 2014 CoStar Power Broker Award for the Tampa Bay market. Addis joins Colliers at a strategic time when big guns are getting in in strategic Tampa retail.
