ORLANDO—Lisa Ross just came on board Avison Young as senior vice president in Tampa. She will focus on landlord representing industrial assets.

Ross brings more than 20 years of experience to Avison's table. Her clients include GLP, MetLife Real Estate Investors, ProLogis Trust, and IP Capital Partners.

"Our industrial agency leasing portfolio has organically grown by 1, 513,143 square feet over the past two years, and the addition of Lisa to our team is the natural next step in our growth trajectory," says Carswell. "The intellectual capital Lisa brings to our team will further our capability to strategically market and lease-up our assets to the local, regional and national tenants active in the market."

Ross will partner with Trey Carswell, principal with Avison in Tampa. Representing more than 4 million square feet of industrial properties combined, the newly formed team is now one of the most dominant in Tampa's industrial market. Ross brings with her an industrial leasing portfolio spanning roughly 1.5 million square feet.

"There is a convergence in the marketplace where activity within the industrial sector is becoming brisk and clients advisory requirements are heightening," Ross tells GlobeSt.com. "The highly unusual platform at Avison Young allows for data, resources and market knowledge to be shared swiftly and thus an opportunity I could not pass up."

Before joining Avison, Ross served as managing director of leasing with Taylor & Mathis, where she was responsible for a portfolio of over 2.6 million square feet of industrial and flex properties. Previous experience includes business development and agency leasing for Jones Lang LaSalle, and director of leasing for ProLogis Trust.
