BALTIMORE, MD—St. John Properties has finished leasing at 116 Westminster Pike, a 14,280 square foot office within Reisterstown Crossing and has begun construction on 118 Westminster Pike, a new two-story, 30,600 square foot building. Reisterstown Crossing is a 10-acre mixed-used business park designed for 100,000 square feet of office and retail space. "Leasing pace at Reisterstown Crossing remains extremely strong, which provided us with the confidence to construct the next building in this community," says Richard Williamson, SVP of Leasing for St. John Properties.
RALEIGH, NC—Federal Capital Partners and local developer Kane Realty Corp. are planning to start construction on a mixed-use project in Raleigh, NC next month now that they have closed on the 2.5-acre site. Referred to as The Dillon redevelopment, the project will include a 210,000 square foot, 17-story office tower, 40,000 square feet of retail and two six-story, apartment buildings of 261 units. The site is in Raleigh's warehouse district. The Dillon office and residential buildings will be designed by architects Duda Paine and J. Davis respectively. Justin Good and Allan Lynch of HFF repped FCP in the deal.
CHEVY CHASE, MD—Speaking of FCP, the company also entered the Florida market, providing a $7.75 million mezzanine loan to develop Ancora, a 289-unit ground up multifamily development on International Dr., in Orlando. The project is being developed by LeCesse Development Corp., with Wells Fargo providing senior construction financing.
WASHINGTON, DC—Quadrangle Development Corp. and Oxford Properties Group have signed a 26,500-square foot lease with Optoro for Washington Center, a 355,000-square-foot building at 1001 G St., NW. NGKF's Brendan Owen, George Vogelei and Rafael Notario represented the owners.
RICHMOND, VA--Santa Monica, CA-based Hertz Investment Group has acquired the Riverfront Plaza in Richmond's Central Business District. It paid $147.5 million for the 951,897-square foot office tower. Hines was the seller.
