LOS ANGELES—JLL has added Adam Fisher as a VP in its third-party management practice. He will be based in Los Angeles and will support the firm's retailer clients with their local, regional and national leasing requirements. Fisher brings more than 15 years of leasing experience in retail real estate, working with tenants to secure strategic locations and obtain their objectives.  He has also worked with landlords to successfully secure tenants that complement existing retailers and support the overall centers' goals.  Fisher is the latest addition to the firm's ever expanding West Coast retail practice, following the addition of Kristin Grove, Bob Dishler, Johnathan LaChance and Howard Wong earlier this year, and the prior Shelter Bay and Wilson Group acquisitions. Prior to joining JLL, Fisher founded Centerra Retail Group in 2008, which specialized in working with investors and retailers throughout the Los Angeles area. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and earned his bachelor's degree in Real Estate Finance from Fresno State University.

NEWPORT BEACH—The Saywitz Company has hired two property management supervisors: Christina Huapaya and Diana Liston.  Both Huapaya and Liston will oversee the day-to-day aspects and management of the company's real estate investment portfolio throughout Southern California. Currently, The Saywitz Company owns and manages more than 75 multifamily properties and office buildings throughout orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Huapaya and Liston come to The Saywitz Company with 10 and 15 years of experience in the real estate industry respectively.  Both individuals are extremely well versed in all aspects of property management.

LOS ANGELES—Pircher, Nichols & Meeks LLP has hired Krista Dyer as an associate in the Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Pircher, Dyer worked as a summer associate at Kilometer Partners and as a law clerk at the Ventura County Public Defender's Office. Dyer also was a legal assistant for the Law Offices of Vincent Martinelli and the King County Bar Association.

ALTANDENA, CA—Millard Place, located at 1968 North Lake Avenue in Altadena, CA, has traded hands for $9.4 million between the developer and an unnamed private investor. CBC Advisors multifamily investment team in El Segundo and its commercial and retail team in Glendale teamed up to close the listing. Tom Jonsson, managing principal, Jonathan Nikfarjam, managing principal, and Will James, director of multifamily investment sales, from the CBC Advisors' El Segundo office and Bill Ukropina, managing principal and Colleen Carey, SVP in the CBC Advisors' Glendale office represented the seller. Jonsson, Nikfarjam and James also represented the buyers in this transaction.

COVINA, CA—A 64,000-square-foot single-tenant medical office building located in the City of Covina has traded hands in one of the largest medical owner/user sales in California for 2017. NKF's Senior Managing Directors Drew Sanden, Taylor Ing and Senior Associate Scott Maples represented the seller Procto Inc., a group of former Magan Medical Clinic physicians, in the transaction to the buyer Genesis KC Development, a subsidiary of HealthCare Partners, LLC. The Property, located at 420 W Rowland Street in Covina, is fully occupied by Magan Medical Clinic.

INLAND EMPIRE, CA—A former Kmart-occupied retail property in Colton in California's Inland Empire to an undisclosed 1031-exchange investor from Orange County for $5.35 million. CBRE's Alan Krueger and Vanessa Haddad represented Outdoor Food Court, LLC, a private investor, in the sale. Located at 1175 South Mount Vernon Avenue, the 104,231 square-foot site sits adjacent to the 215 and is in close proximity to the 91, 10, 60, and 210 freeways which service both San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

SEDONA, AZ—The Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel and Creekside Villas, located at 400 North State Route 89A in in the heart of Uptown Sedona, Arizona, has traded hands to Glacier House Hotels for an undisclosed price. CBRE Hotels' Jennifer Bergamo, vice president in Phoenix, and Larry Kaplan and Mark Darrington, senior vice presidents in Denver, represented the seller, Arroyo Roble Hotel & Creekside Villas I, LLC in this transaction. The Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel and Creekside Villas is a trophy asset located along Oak Creek in the highly sought after Uptown section of Sedona with unprecedented views of the Red Rocks and a rare three acres of developable land. The property features 65 guest units in a variety of sizes and configurations including seven, 1,295 square foot recently renovated two-bedroom Creekside townhomes. partner in a Phoenix-based development and investment firm. In total, Morrow possesses more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate brokerage industry. In this position, he will concentrate on office, industrial, and net leased investment sales.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA—Buchanan Street Partners has closed on a $20.8 million construction loan for Newhall Crossings, a mixed-use project with 47 apartment units and 20,164 SF of retail space in Santa Clarita, California. The project will anchor a significant redevelopment in historic Old Town Newhall, a walkable downtown district with plentiful dining and shopping opportunities in burgeoning Santa Clarita Valley. Newhall Crossings will be the northern anchor of the premier pedestrian oriented commercial corridor in Santa Clarita, with access to over 50 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, and is served by a nearby Metrolink station. The project is part of a larger adjacent development that includes a seven-screen Laemmle Theatre, a portion that will be completed within the same timeframe as Newhall Crossings.
