NEWBURGH, NY-DLC Management Corp. purchased the 250,000-sf Mid Valley Mall here that is anchored by Price Chopper for $27.8 million. In addition, the Tarrytown-based firm reports it recently closed on the acquisition of a major retail property in Torrington, CT.
WHITE PLAINS-EastRidge Properties retained Colliers/ABR Inc. of New York City to provide the company with support for its leasing efforts for large space availabilities, each totaling more than 20,000 sf, at five of its properties here in Westchester County.
SHELTON, CT-RD Scinto Inc. increased its considerable office property holdings here with the purchase of the 159,833-sf Shelton Pointe office building. Scinto acquired the building from Equity Office Properties Trust for $15.3 million.
BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY-Core Plus Properties LLC, a relatively new commercial office real estate investment firm based in Stamford, CT, has purchased the 124,725-sf Briarcliff Corporate Campus building here from RPW Group of White Plains for $20.6 million.
STAMFORD, CT-CB Richard Ellis didn't look very far to replace Dean Shapiro as the head of the brokerage firm's Westchester/Fairfield office. Right-hand man Robert Caruso replaces Shapiro, who will leave shortly to manage the firm's Midtown Manhattan office.

MILFORD, CT-Lexington Corporate Properties Trust of New York City has sold the Ikon Office Solutions building at 183 Plains Rd. here to an entity of the Tolchin Property Group for approximately $2.5 million
WHITE PLAINS-At a special meeting of the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency it was revealed that the Synapse Group Inc. is studying relocating its operations from Stamford, CT to approximately 75,000 sf of space in Westchester. The company, a subsidiary of Time Inc., is also considering sites in Connecticut.
STAMFORD, CT-International law firm Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP has expanded its operations at Reckson Associates Realty Corp.'s 1055 Washington Blvd. property here to more than 61,000 sf of space.
