ORLANDO-The Columbus, OH-based manufacturer/distributor/retailer will occupy an estimated 600,000-sf distribution center in the historic Georgia town of 18,162 permanent residents after Thomasville reportedly offered at least $132,000 or $300 per job for the expected 220 new jobs. Orlando offered a deal valued at about $70,000.
ORLANDO-In a cash-stock-debt deal, the Chattanooga, TN-based developer, largest owner of malls and shopping centers in the Southeast, paid Panama City Associates LLC $76.64 per sf for the 87%-leased property, 250 miles northwest of Downtown Orlando.

ATLANTA-The Nashville, TN-based owner/operator of privately owned prisons has seven one-year renewal options for housing 1,500 inmates at its McRae, GA facility. Revenue is expected to start flowing in the fourth quarter of this year.
