ATLANTA-The locally based multifamily developer/investor paid Chicago-based Jupiter Realty Corp. $11.45 million or an average $22,106 per unit for the 208-unit, townhouse Live Oak Plantation and the 310-unit Indigo Pointe Apartments, both in Savannah, GA, 200 miles southeast of Downtown Atlanta.
ATLANTA-The Memphis Group Inc. is taking the space for five years at the four-year-old, 91%-leased, 3.72 million-sf Chickasaw Distribution Center. The estimated value of the lease is $3 million.

The ranking could affect future development growth and leasing activity, the study suggests.
ATLANTA-In a move that is expected to drive up the cost of shelter and commercial development projects in North America over the next 12 months, the locally based timber and paper products company is reducing its gypsum wallboard manufacturing capacity by 45%; closing three plants; and selling its recycled paperboard plant at Delair, NJ.
