GAITHERSBURG, MD-JBG Rosenfeld Retail adds a new retail property to its portfolio with the acquisition of Montgomery Village Plaza. The real estate company acquired the 113,000-sf shopping center for $18.1 million, making it the second Montgomery County property under JBGR's ownership.

BETHESDA, MD-Work on Phase I of a $12-million expansion project at Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County reaches completion. The new 20,000-sf addition and the impending 11,500-sf Phase II addition will bring the total size of the half-century-old building to 58,000 sf.
ARLINGTON, VA-A $147.5-million financing deal closes for the construction of Eclipse on Center Park, a 465-unit luxury condominium property near the entrance of the massive mixed-use Potomac Yard development. Corus Bank is providing the funds for Eclipse developer Comstock Homes.
ALEXANDRIA, VA-Park Center I, a 219,000-sf office building, gets snapped up in a $37.5-million deal. Home to the USDA's Food and Nutrition Services Department and the Department of Defense's Army Audit Division, the building is leased to maximum capacity.
