PHOENIX-John F. Long Properties is turning the focus to a 1,000-acre, mixed-use project in Glendale now that the retail portfolio's closed out. A California group takes over the last of Long's shopping centers, getting more than 444,000 sf.

GILBERT, AZ-A Utah-based chain of vehicle repair shops begins construction in the summer on an 1,800-sf, six-bay shop for a just-bought 51,000-sf tract. The five-year plan is to open another 10 locations in the Valley.
