SCOTTSDALE, AZ-Tonight's grand opening has such headliners as Terry Bradshaw, Jillian Barberie, Wayne Gretzky, and Roger Staubach. That's just part of the invitation list for the 20,000-sf concept being launched in Scottsdale.

TUCSON-The University of Arizona Science and Technology Park has earmarked about 25.6 acres for the project. The plan, for now, calls for 150 room and about 50,000 sf of flex conference center space.

PHOENIX-The Northern Corporate Center steps into the limelight with a 90% occupancy. The newest tenant is ProNet, a technical advisory firm, which signed for 9,000 sf in a five-year contract. Ten months ago, the building was empty.

GLENDALE, AZ-The City of Glendale is gearing up to break ground on a 70,000-sf maintenance building and 12,000-sf warehouse. The West Myrtle Street complex will take a year to build, but will deliver needed expansion space.

PHOENIX-Cal State Investment scores the win with a high bid for the 44 units at 1633 W. Missouri Ave. in Phoenix. Two other offers were placed on the table for the 98%-occupied complex, built in 1964.

PHOENIX-The project added exhibit space and updated the permanent gallery. The 5,324-sf gain was reserved for the Salt River Project, an exhibit that was three years in the making to detail the region's history.

PHOENIX-Bar Development Group secures 2.4 acres to build in the Pinnacle Business Park. Milburn Properties strikes a 27,000-sf sale/leaseback while Innovaquartz is lined up for a 16,000-sf industrial building.

PHOENIX-The 1950-era property, now office and warehouse space, came fully occupied with a single tenant. The buyer is a California couple who was satisfying tax requirements from an Arizona multifamily complex with the purchase.
