SHERMAN OAKS, CA-The New York investment firm teams for the first time with locally based Rockland Properties to acquire 169 units from a local seller. The Summer View Apartments was 97% occupied at sale time.
LOS ANGELES-The big questions lie in the housing market. The commercial markets are seen as stable, with industrial and retail sectors cited as the strongest. The Inland Empire will continue as an economic driver for the state.
BALBOA ISLAND, CA-The 2,096-sf retail building at 201 Marine Ave. has brought one of the highest per sf returns for a comparable property on Balboa Island. The longtime real estate office sale closed at 6.8% cap rate.
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA-The Hunsaker Development project joins six other speculative industrial buildings under construction in Imperial Business Park. Hunsaker's 154,000-sf plan will deliver in a single building with 20 "for lease" units.
HOLLYWOOD-The LA-based developer will add new retail and restaurant space to the office tower in the $3-million improvement project for the 12-story, 183,000-sf Hollywood Boulevard building.
