DALLAS-The 18-year-old building's location close to Dallas sells the site to a law firm looking for extra storage space. Seller Jet Set Corp. of San Leandro, CA receives a $128,000 check for the Westbrook Hollow property.

CEDAR HILL, TX-The 26-building second phase is going up on 11.4 of 40 acres in a bedroom community southwest of Dallas. The $15.5-million second phase to Legacy of Cedar Hill will deliver in stages through first quarter 2004.

DALLAS-The 202-unit Pleasant Grove Village is the collateral for the 10-year loan in a first-time deal between AmeriSouth Realty and New York City lender, Nomura Bank. Bought in 2001, the complex has undergone a $1-million rehab.

DALLAS-The Maharishi World Peace Fund says the price is firm: $108 million for 308 suburban acres and $20 million for a 400-room Dallas hotel locked in a lawsuit for about three years. Once again, area experts say the prices and the plan are skewed.

CARROLLTON, TX-Hillwood gets a 154,915-sf building with 93,451 sf sitting empty. Before the ink could dry, the tenant chase began. Seller Met Life gives Hillwood its first Carrollton deed to a property assessed at $4.3 million plus.

SHERMAN, TX-NewQuest Properties of Houston has the ground crew moving on a 100-acre tract to mark its inroad into North Texas. The 700,000-sf town center, situated 65 miles northeast of Dallas, is about 65% pre-leased.

ADDISON, TX-The largest lease is signed by a Dallas-Fort Worth newcomer, Dixie Carpet of Houston. The flooring contractor for the multifamily industry will open doors in the spring. Also, a garment manufacturer re-ups its space in Dallas.
