AUSTIN-One-third of Austin's sublease market has an average life of two years. Of the 82 leases, 43 or 748,000 sf have less than a year to go. As a result, "expenses only" deal making returns for the first time since the late 1980s.
IRVING, TX-AmeriSouth's first move was to sever the HUD contract, save for 40 units, at Raible Place. Next comes the rehab, inside and out. Then, it will be a rent hike from the existing 45 cents per sf to the market standard of 82 cents per sf.
