TEMPE, AZ-Hal D. Adamson of Tucson acquires a 67,452-sf industrial property in Tempe in a start-to-finish 90-day deal. The seller gets close to his asking price while the buyer makes plans for some upgrades that came with a price reduction.
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX-Post Properties is finishing out expanded space for a veteran tenant at its Grand Prairie office-warehouse building while EastGroup welcomes a newcomer to Texas. The two deals seal off 23,611 sf in DFW industrial parks.
ADDISON, TX-Woodmont Co. of Fort Worth, in a new leasing assignment, is in talks with a would-be tenant for a vacant 32,000-sf Service Merchandise at North Dallas' Prestonwood Center. Also coming is the first redo in 15 years.
GLENDALE, AZ-Park West Development is bringing more retail to Glendale. It could be a 12-acre, grocery-anchored center or a six-acre strip center. The final decision comes in 30 days. The six acres are in hand as is an option for an abutting tract.

PHOENIX-Fairfield Residential abandons a project after 18 months of groundwork. The 20 1/2-acre target site goes first to Fairfield and then to Baltz School District in back-to-back closings. The district paid roughly $6.7 million for the tract.
PHOENIX-The high demand for older Phoenix product pushes another sale, the 52-unit Mulberry Apartments. Syndicated buyer Cal State Real Estate had been working to close the deal since July 2001 for the "always full" property.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ-IPS Sendero decides to stay put in a Maier & Siebel project after weighing the pros and cons of a relocation. The tenant signs a five-year lease for 30,754 sf, up from about 22,000 sf, in a deal valued at $3.4 million.
DALLAS-There's a new CEO, new look and new initiative for Web-Real-Estate.com. Credible sources say the current burn rate could spell doom. Not so, says CEO Chuck Briant, who is bargaining with two firms to get 5,000 properties onto a listing component.
