MESQUITE, TX-Dallas' premier development team, Panattoni-Hillwood, Thursday will break ground on a 930,000-sf, 112-acre industrial development parceled from acreage owned by Ross Perot Sr. since the mid-1980s in Mesquite. HOUSTON-The nation's largest thrift is acquiring Bank United Corp., the largest publicly traded banking organization in Texas. Washington Mutual Inc. will pay about $1.5 billion for the 155-branch operation, pending federal regulatory approval.
