LOS ANGELES-The developer has paid close to $30 million for a 258,000-sf industrial and office facility in El Monte. The acquisition is part of Crown's plans to expand its portfolio in the Los Angeles Basin area.
COSTA MESA-Wohl Investment Co. plans to reposition a 60,000-sf retail center formerly known as Hillgren Square into a high-end destination center to be named the 17th Street Promenade.
ORANGE, CA-The $1.4 million deal is for 22,932 sf at Orangewood Office Center. The 110,000-sf complex is 94% occupied.
ORANGE-Two tenants have renewed their leases at the 305,439-sf office building. The leases total 64,248 sf.
ANAHEIM-The 38,900-sf building at 1268 Lakeview Ave was sold for $2.8 million. It is the latest in a string of industrial transactions to occur in Orange County.
LOS ANGELES-The 330,000-sf office complex just north of the Ventura Freeway and east of Lindero Canyon Road opens at 60% occupancy. Tenants include homestore.com, Thorston & Associates Insurance Services and Genuity Solutions Inc.
LOS ANGELES-Optical Communication Products Inc. pays $18.7 million to privately held Toibb Elins Properties for 142,000 sf of office and industrial space in Warner Center area.
SANTA ANA-The 94,988-sf R&D building sits on a 6.5-acre site and is fully leased to two tenants. Horizon took 60,000-sf in the Essex Corporate Center and after construction was completed. Hirsch Electronics signed a lease for the remaining space.
HUNTINGTON BEACH-The 45-acre, $18 million project has been approved in a vote of four to two. City officials can now begin soliciting bids from contractors who want to build the complex.
ANAHEIM-Voit Development Co. has snatched up the 340,000-sf, nine-building complex here in a deal valued at $7.4 million. The seller was Black & Decker Co., which purchased Kwikset Corp. in 1989.
