LAS VEGAS, NV-Unionized workers at the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas have gone on strike as of 6 p.m. yesterday, due to the inability to reach a contract agreement with the casino owner. It is the only casino that has not yet reached tentative agreements with the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 and Bartenders' and Beverage Dispensers' Union Local 165.
