A wholly owned subsidiary of German real estate firm Viterra AG Group, Viterra Energy Services has its US headquarters based in San Diego.

CHULA VISTA, CA-The Corky McMillin Cos. has begun construction on Phase II of its master-planned community located within the Otay Ranch area of Chula Vista. The 215-acre second phase will consist of five neighborhoods, a church and a high school.

The property, which is entitled for up to 1,109 units and an 80-unit assisted living facility, generated significant interest from both national and regional investors.

SAN DIEGO-The overall multifamily vacancy level in San Diego County crept up from 3.5% to 3.9% in the first quarter of 2003, according to new research on the region. However, apartment owners did raise rents an average of 1% during the same period.
