SEATTLE-The Airport Communities Coalition has filed an appeal seeking to overturn a permit issued last week by the state Department of Ecology. The water quality permit was necessary for construction of a third runway at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

SEATTLE-The Boeing Co. intends to add about 35,000 feet to its final assembly and testing area of its satellite factory. The addition is being made to step up production and make the plant more efficient.
