NEW YORK CITY-A Republican proposal that is likely to pass if the GOP takes both the House and Senate in today's elections could make REITS less attractive by giving other non-REIT investments new tax breaks.

NEW YORK CITY-Known as the Prince Building and located on the corner of Broadway and Prince Street, the 105-year-old building is home to the trendy A/X Armani Exchange SoHo store and is the three real estate trusts' sole Manhattan asset. The deal was struck yesterday after an all-night session.

NEW YORK CITY-Great Neck, NY-based Keen Realty has been hired to shed the denim assets, possibly by auction. Keen has been handling Warnaco's real estate dispositions since the New York firm filed for bankruptcy protection in June 2001.
