PHOENIX-A Los Angeles investor grabs his second Walgreens site in metro Phoenix. The 14,280-sf retail site at 5626 E. Thomas Rd. in Phoenix brings $2.3 million for its Florida seller, Robert Schmidt.
HOUSTON-Assess Net signs a 4,050-sf lease that puts an 89,660-sf flex building along the North Loop East at 93.3% occupancy. The Austin-based firm selects a 26-year-old building in North Houston for its first location in the city.

PHOENIX-The 125-attorney Lewis and Roca firm decides to stay put after three years of studying the market, including Camelback Corridor and Midtown. The firm signs a 10-year lease for Two Renaissance Tower in the Phoenix CBD.
HOUSTON-The 90%-leased Plazas at the Parkway in West Houston is a beehive of activity as retailers finish out spaces and make plans for move-in. The Vista Equities Group project is "a slam dunk location," says the firm's president.
SEDONA, AZ-Weitz Co. of Des Moines kicks off work on a Seven Canyons fractional ownership resort, beginning with a $20-million clubhouse and first wave of 84 villas and 12 casitas. The championship golf course opens in the spring.
HOUSTON-The suburban submarkets come to the rescue as CBD occupancy plummets 12.32 points in one quarter. The CBD dips to 85.08% whereas citywide occupancy is down just 0.24 of a point to 93.26%, the second highest level in eight years.
PHOENIX-A hair replacement clinic, pain management practice and skin-care specialist will open doors in new office space, thanks to a trio of signings for metro Phoenix. The Hair Club for Men signs for the largest spot, 5,597 sf.
