HOUSTON-In unrelated land sales, nearly 10 acres in northwest Houston have been bought for commercial development. One parcel is along Grant Road and the other near Willowbrook Mall. Caldwell Watson's land division orchestrated the sales.

HOUSTON-William C. Yancey Jr. has been appointed to NAIOP's Developers II Forum after plying his skills since 1971 in Houston, Austin and Dallas. The forum is limited to principals from privately owned companies.

SPRING, TX-Jarvis Entertainment has picked a suburb north of Houston for a 15,000-sf production facility for its virtual reality game production. Two recently acquired operations will be consolidated into the new location.

HOUSTON-The 232-unit Plantation Apartments in Houston's Uptown-Galleria submarket has been transferred to a Texas partnership. A CB Richard Ellis team brokered the sale on Equity's behalf.

HOUSTON-The land's in hand and the architect is hard at work fine-tuning plans for Invensys Corp.'s Western Hemisphere headquarters. The international software and electronics solutions provider has bought 12.3 acres in Westway Park.

HOUSTON-Southwest Bindery is relocating into a 16,000-sf office-warehouse building in northwest Houston. The tenant is eyeing an early October move-in. The broker says the relocation site is a perfect fit for the tenant's needs.
