HOUSTON-Hall Financial Group has sold the last of its Houston multifamily assets in an ongoing disposition of 16 older properties. The Forestree Apartments in the southeastern Houston suburb of Webster has been sold to a limited partnership.

HOUSTON-The 313-unit Chateaux Dijon Apartments at 16201 El Camino Real has changed hands. The class B property is one of several that has been transferred this year in negotiations by a CB Richard Ellis team of senior vice presidents.

HOUSTON-Discount clothing retailer Weiner's thought it could emerge from a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing until a slump in Easter sales and Tropical Storm Allison. Now, 97 locations are being shuttered and all assets sold.

HOUSTON-Affordable housing developer Swiss Village Community Ltd. has received a $3.5-million Fannie Mae loan. The fund will be applied to construction of an 88-unit second phase to Swiss Village in the city's northeastern tier.
