ATLANTA-Pope & Land is placing its six office buildings at NorthWinds on the market and is looking for a partner to develop an office project in NorthWinds Towers.

ATLANTA-BellSouth Advertising & Publishing Corp. plans to house 1,500 employees in the 10-story structure under construction on Northlake Parkway, about 15 miles east of Atlanta. The estimated construction cost: $45 million.

ATLANTA-MetroNexus of New York and Paris and Core Location of Bethesda, MD jointly plan to convert old warehouse space in a depressed intown area into a one million-sf Metro Technology Center Atlanta, one of the largest telecom hotel projects in the United States. Scheduled opening: Fourth quarter. Area rents are $15 to $17 psf.

ATLANTA-The $84 million span will cross the Downtown Connector--Interstate 75 and Interstate 85--and link the 140-acre, mixed-use Atlantic Steel Center downtown to Midtown.

ATLANTA-The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. is negotiating to develop a 200-room hotel with million dollar-plus condominiums on the upper floors, smack dab in the middle of Midtown. The site is Midtown Square at Peachtree and Tenth Streets, a planned 2 million-sf mixed-use project by Dewberry Capital Corp. The estimated construction cost of the hotel shell alone is $40 million.
