PHOENIX-The Southeast Valley's rich labor pool and high-end office offerings convince Adtron Corp. to sign a seven-year lease for 20,609 sf. The locally based assembler of computer parts and accessories is planning a June move to the Allred Cotton Center.

PHOENIX-Realtor John Hall & Associates buys a one-month-old spec building with double the office space of its nearby leased address. The new owner will occupy 75% of the Arrowhead Park Place building and lease the balance.

PHOENIX-S-J Management LLC of Seattle buys its third multifamily property in town in nine months, spending $16.1 million for the 185-unit Belaflora Apartments, a class A complex sold by the Greystone Group of Newport Beach, CA.

PHOENIX-Radnor, PA-based Airgas Inc. purchases 1.5 acres from SunState in the University Center to develop a 12,000-sf distribution building on the site. Ground will break in the second quarter so the facility can be up and running by year's end.

PHOENIX-A test preparation agency for children and teenagers and state mental health coalition sign two office leases in Phoenix and Scottsdale, respectively. The combined deals are worth more than $110,000 for an aggregate 2,400 sf.

PHOENIX-Cavan Development will start work in May on a six-building development at 87th Avenue and Union Hills Drive in Peoria while Hewson looks at a July kick-off on a nine-building project for the West Valley corner of 91st Avenue and Indian School Road.

PHOENIX-Accounting firm RSM McGladrey fills the void with a five-year lease for 11,961 sf at 510 N. 44th St. The inbound tenant, "intrigued" by occupying Arthur Andersen space, gets a "plug 'n play deal" with a centralized location in the metro.

PHOENIX-Making a four-year commitment, Courier Graphics gets a distribution building next door to its manufacturing plant and corporate headquarters. Lights turn on July 1 practically as soon as the outbound tenant flips the switch.
