HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA-The luxury builder's third-quarter net income reached $106 million, a 56%-increase over the same quarter a year ago. Earnings, revenue, contracts and backlog all showed whopping, double-digit gains.

PHILADELPHIA-In a survey of professionals who assist companies in location decisions, 59% said they rarely consider the greater Philadelphia region, even though 18% have a "very favorable" and 47%, a "somewhat favorable" impression of this area.

PHILADELPHIA-In a lease valued at $4.5 million, the celebrated local ad agency extends and expands its space in the 28-story, 465,000-sf PNB Building at Broad and Chestnut. The building changed hands last May for $42 million.

EXTON, PA-Hankin Group is developing the 165,000-sf phase I build-to-suit on 18.5 acres in Eagleview Corporate Center. Kensey Nash will move into 100,000 sf of the facility in November 2005. Full fit-out and a 25,000-sf addition will follow.

BETHLEHEM, PA-Milliken Valve Co. inks a lease for half of the Bethlehem Crossings I warehouse/distribution facility under construction here by Opus East. Completion of this first of three planned buildings is scheduled for November.

ALLENTOWN, PA-Airgas East establishes a 13,802-sf service center in Brandywine's class A office property, which broke ground 69% leased in June 2003. Lease terms are undisclosed, but brokers say the rate is approximately $18.50 per sf.

VALLEY FORGE, PA-Leasing of the first 310-unit apartment portion of O'Neill Properties' planned 65-acre residential and office community on the former Betzwood and Lubin Film Studio Estate begins. Rents range from $1,240 to $1,950 a unit.

PHILADELPHIA-With the opening of Ikea's first urban store, the roll-out of additional stores at 60-acre Columbus Commons begins. It is 98% leased. Meanwhile, Whitman Square at the former Whitman Chocolate factory opens after Labor Day, 100% leased.
