PHILADELPHIA-An investor pays nearly $2.5 million, or about $210 per sf, for the three-tenant, single-story retail center at 4236 N. Broad St., reaching well above the going rate for multi-tenant retail assets throughout the MSA.
CHAMBERSBURG, PA-The seller acquired the 862,450-sf warehouse/distribution center at 1475 Nitterhouse Dr. when the retailer was in bankruptcy prior to its $11.5-billion acquisition of Sears. Kmart's lease runs through Aug. 31, 2016.
MIAMI-The Florida Department of Children and Families selected Geo to build and manage a 220-bed, 154,035-sf center. The project will replace the existing 200-bed South Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center, which Geo Care now manages.

W. BRANDYWINE TOWN, PA-Of the funding, American Retirement Corp. will use $9.4 million to add 28 independent living units and $11.4 million to finance an ongoing 57-unit expansion of its healthcare center at Freedom Village at Brandywine.
