PHILADELPHIA-The long-awaited deal for a new Comcast headquarters in Center City is struck. Previously called One Pennsylvania Plaza, the 1.2-million-sf, 57-story Comcast Center will break ground this month, 44% leased to Comcast for 15.5 years.

MIAMI-At a reported cost of just under $200 million, the New York developer will break ground this March on two 40-story towers at 1100 SW First Ave. Pre-construction prices for units begin at $240,000.

BALA CYNWYD, PA-For $18.6 million, the New Jersey-based realty company adds the 125,783-sf property at 150 Monument Rd. to its 18-property, two-million-sf suburban Philadelphia portfolio. The building is 66% leased and upgrades are planned.

SUNRISE, FL-Mills Corp. sells an 8.3-acre tract of lakefront land across from Sawgrass Mills Mall for just over $8.7 million to a partnership formed by Harry Weitzer, which plans Tao, a two-tower, 396-unit condo.

BETHLEHEM, PA-The three-story, 70,000-sf building at 77 South Commerce Way is one of the ear-piercing specialists' former two headquarters buildings here. Following a $2-million renovation, this one will become Commerce Business Center.

WASHINGTON TWP., NJ-At a projected cost of $25 million, construction of West Manor Crossing, a warehouse and distribution facility, will begin in March on the industrially zoned acres one mile east of Exit 7 of Interstate 195.
