MIAMI-The company paid 57th Avenue Associates about $119.35 per sf for the three-story, 31,000-sf office building at 701 NW 57th Ave. in West Miami. The building is 95% occupied, mostly by area physicians.
MIAMI-Revenue for 2002 increased to approximately $200 million from $150 million the year before. The company attributes its growth to focusing more on developing upscale, market-rate rental communities, luxury condominiums, and affordable multifamily units.
MIAMI-Thiel Logistics USA Inc. has leased 85,424 sf in a freestanding, class A warehouse/distribution facility in Beacon Industrial Park from AMB Property Corp. The lease establishes a US headquarters for the Germany-based logistics provider.
MIAMI-The Turnberry Associates project Turnberry Ocean Colony is planned for two 37-story towers, each consisting of about 130 residences, in Sunny Isles Beach, FL. The two- to five-bedroom units range from $1 million to more than $4 million.
WEST PALM BEACH, FL-The buyer obtained $4.2 million in financing for the 41,429-sf, mid-rise Congress Center North building here, which is 100% leased to three tenants. SouthTrust Bank arranged the fixed-rate financing for the acquisition.
MIAMI-The Boca Raton, FL-based company has entered into a definitive agreement with AAT Communications to sell either 679 or 801 wireless antenna towers in several states for $160 million or $203 million, respectively.
MIAMI-The financing, from Column Financial, is for the Blue Heron Center, a 152,000-sf industrial facility in West Palm Beach, FL. Stateside Capital took advantage of low interest rates, according to Shannon Rex of Dockerty Romer & Co., who arranged the deal.
MIAMI-Tropical Shipping sublet the space, which is in a freestanding building at 8005 NW 80th St. in Lakeview Commerce Center in the Airport North area. The transaction is valued at $700,000.
MIAMI BEACH-Locally based WSG Development plans to begin demolishing existing buildings on the future site of the 49-unit, two-story, single-building project in North Bay Village. The development is set to be completed in fall 2004.
MIAMI-They also leased the 6,000-sf restaurant space in the historic Bancroft Hotel in South Beach for a second Sopra restaurant. The lease is valued at approximately $2.5 million. Constructa Inc. of Miami was the seller and lessor.
