MIAMI-A partnership of Ross Matz Investments Inc. of Davie, FL has paid the New York-based investment group Investcorp $114.82 per sf for the 371,000-sf outdoor mall. Investcorp has been selling its Florida retail properties to focus on other areas of the country.
MIAMI-J.R. Rick Kolb has worked in both the public and private sectors. Kolb's previous jobs include vice president of Correctional Services Corp. of Sarasota, FL, and president of Gateland Construction and Kolb Development Group.
MIAMI-The $4.15 earnings per diluted share for the fiscal year ended Nov. 30 compares to $3.87 per diluted share in 2001. However, that same figure dropped some in the fourth quarter, from $1.02 in 2001 to 91 cents in 2002.

AVENTURA, FL-The two-building, seven-story, mid-rise, luxury project, will have 119 units that sell in the $300,000 to $500,000 range. Ground-breaking is planned for late summer, and the $22 million to $28 million project is expected to take a year and a half to build.
MIAMI-The 25,000-sf, five-year deal is for a new location for the electrical supply distributor at 6780 White Drive in West Palm Beach, FL. The company is paying about $7.25 per sf gross.
MIAMI-Leasing activity decreased significantly, the vacancy rate increased some, and net absorption was positive but weak at the end of 2002, with some of the worst results recorded in the larger submarkets, according to a recent report.
MIAMI-Toni Anderson and JoAnne Perez have been named corporate services associates, supporting such clients as Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith; Morgan Stanley DW Inc.; and Humana Inc., while Michelle Jimenez was promoted to marketing research coordinator.
MIAMI-Seven new industrial leases totaling 135,049 sf have recently been inked at the class A property here. The deals include a 50,000-sf lease with Zip Transport, a 25,230-sf lease with Geologistics America and a 20,000-sf lease with CEMUSA Miami.
MIAMI-The $100 million luxury, gated community for people ages 55 and over will be located on a 24-acre site in Weston, FL. Nichols Brosch Sandoval & Associates is the architect, and Howard Design Group is the interior design firm.
